California State University Channel Islands
Overview
Circle K International at California State University Channel Islands were established by the original executive board consisting of Noah Tyler Ratley, Andrew D'Incognito and Kazuhiro Fujita. The club was established in the summer of 2018 and officially chartered by the original executive board through the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks on March 18th, 2019. Their sister club is the California Lutheran University charter while the Ventura College chapter is the closest.
Club Goals
The club's overall goal is to expand horizons and connect the members with those in the community and with other clubs and organizations around and on campus. The club is an open source of service-learning and leadership development while keeping with its core values and aspirations to connect with its surrounding communities. CSUCI CKI distinguishes itself from other campus organizations for its dedication to service, leadership, and fellowship. Its doors are always open to new members, so you can get involved today!
Mascot & Theme
Our club mascot is Nestor, a hiker in search for opportunities! The club's theme is Venture Out with a Helpful Heart!
General Meetings (GMs)
CSUCI Circle K holds their general meetings every Tuesday at 6PM (unless there is a holiday) to discuss upcoming events, recognize members, and all around just have fun. Meetings are open to everyone. Meeting location vary in the beginning of the semester as classes have priority on classrooms, however, meeting locations will be updated either on Remind, Facebook, Instagram, or CI Sync.
